1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HitLabs Recording Studio services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Studio Booking and Usage

2.1 Booking Requirements

• All bookings must be made through our official booking system
• A valid payment method is required at the time of booking
• Bookings are subject to availability
• You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking

2.2 Studio Rules

• Arrive on time for your scheduled session
• Respect all equipment and facilities
• Follow the instructions of our studio staff
• No smoking, drugs, or alcohol on the premises
• Keep noise levels reasonable outside of the studio
• Maximum occupancy limits must be observed

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Pricing

• All prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings (KES)
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• Payment must be made in full before or at the start of your session

3.2 Payment Methods

• We accept M-Pesa and Cash payments
• All payments are processed securely

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations by Client

• Cancellations made 48+ hours before the session: Full refund
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: No refund
• No-shows: No refund

4.2 Cancellations by HitLabs

We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to:

• Equipment malfunction or maintenance
• Force majeure events
• Violation of our terms or studio rules

In such cases, we will provide a full refund or offer to reschedule your session.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Recordings

• You retain all rights to your original music and content
• We retain ownership of our equipment, software, and facilities
• You grant us permission to use excerpts for promotional purposes (with your consent)

5.2 Use of Our Resources

• Sample libraries, plugins, and software are for use only during your session
• Copying or distributing our software is prohibited

6. Liability

6.1 Equipment Damage

• You are responsible for any damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence
• Report any equipment issues immediately to our staff
• Damage fees will be charged for repairs or replacement

6.2 Personal Property

• We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items
• Always keep your belongings secure

6.3 Limitation of Liability

HitLabs Recording Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

7. Code of Conduct

We expect all clients to:

• Treat staff and other clients with respect
• Use appropriate language and behavior
• Not engage in illegal activities
• Not bring unauthorized guests

Violation of our code of conduct may result in immediate termination of your session without refund and prohibition from future bookings.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
